Negative taken for August 9, 1963, Arkansas Gazette article "West Germany Has Impressive Armed Forces," B1:2. The 7th Army celebrated its 20th Anniversary of its formation on July 10, 1943. It was created for the Allied invasion of Sicily and commanded by General G.S. Patton. The celebration included a parade with the new West Germany Army and one of their military bands and with American Units in July of 1963.
